We, Bright Americans Inc., are in the process of establishing a development and technical support facility in Karachi and currently have openings for six developers.
Developers will work on either of the following projects:
• Development of a Unified Communication System using a mix of commercial and open source software for email, voicemail, VOIP, PBX, IVR, FAX, TTS etc.
For this part, we require software developers with good knowledge of component based development in J2SE/J2EE and knowledge of network programming in VOIP and in email based systems. Knowledge of Perl, MySQL and PostgreSQL will strengthen your case.
• Development of a Content Management System (CMS) for managing numerous websites that the company would use to offer its services around the world. A mix of commercial and open source software would be used for this purpose.
For this part, we require Web developers with extensive knowledge of Web based technologies like PHP, MySQL, and PostgreSQL. Knowledge of CMS e.g. Mamboo/Joomla, Typo3, MySource Matrix will certainly support your case.
All development will be done in Linux environment. Therefore knowledge of Linux and related development or deployment tools (e.g. gcc, PuTTY, OpenSSH etc) will be a plus.
To succeed you would need deep technical knowledge, ability to learn fast and be creative. These projects are technologically advanced even from US standards.
Candidates with CGPA of 3.25 or above would be preferred but we encourage all others to apply as well.
We offer a salary of Rs. 16,000 – 20,000. Our bonus program would allow you to earn an annual bonus which may exceed your annual salary.
